We met on December 9, 2005, which was 3 weeks prior to Robert's 6 month deployment with the Navy.  I wasn't interested in him at first but he was persistent and by the time he was deployed, I was hooked!  Our first year was our hardest year.  He was gone for 6 months, where 4 months was in Iraq.  July 6th, 2006 was one of the happiest days of our lives because he finally returned but we only had 2 weeks together before he had to go back to WA where he was stationed.  We didn't live in the same state until he came home for good in October of 2006.  We made the leap to Colorado in August of 2007.  He made the leap and proposed on February 13th of this year and we are so excited for our wedding day to come.
